Romanian-born director Cristian Straub, a former Wim Wenders student, has a background in classic cinema, but is also a musician and artist  with a lifelong passion and curiosity for all things avantgarde. Many of his short films and artistic works were shown and awarded internationally at film festivals and exhibitions. 
Since 2010, Cristian turned his main focus to fashion films. Over 150 blogs wrote about Cristian’s “science fashion film triology” DERVISHES IN SPACE, which was released early 2011. Since then, he worked with brand hot designers like Fashion Week darlings Esther Perbandt and Perret Schaad and bought fashion & beauty aesthetics to sports in a special shooting with kick-boxing world champion Christine Theiss.
